I am drawn to photography because it allows me to capture the beauty and peace found in nature. In a world that often feels divided, I believe we can find unity and encouragement through the quiet elegance of the natural world. My journey as a photographer began in high school at Maur Hill-Mount Academy in Atchison, Kansas, where I studied under Mrs. Lara Wallace. She taught me the fundamentals of photography and how to draw the viewer’s eye to the heart of an image. Her mentorship sparked my passion for visual storytelling, and I have continued to build on that foundation ever since.
While attending the University of Kansas (KU), I’ve had the privilege of sharing my work more broadly. My photography was
selected for the KU LibArt: Student Art in the Libraries exhibition for the 2025–2026 academic year.
I’m also honored to display my work at the Circle of Art in Atchison. Through these opportunities, I hope to convey the natural beauty I see to others—and to remind people of the quiet strength and harmony found in the world around us.
